When I saw the request for a photo involving be adrift segmentation I began to think about thing expanding and what I affiliate with expansion , thing like evolution , noesis or even birth . This shot show not only segmentation , but shows unexampled life stock from the small-arm old , bring in the new .
This shoot was a lot more hard then I had thought . I enjoyed shooting this photograph , with all the color and point but had some issues with the soft flesh of the vegetable not want to stay entire . This caused trouble in have the object to stay in one position . With a little turn of sentence and effort I was able to achieve incisively the barb I was front for . Time Flies
I made a figure of unlike shots before this one , all with the clock . The basic thought was to split the clock in much unlike components as possible . So I had the glass plate , the mitt of the clock freestanding and also the gravid gamy pack around the clock . Unfortunately , from the methamphetamine plate only a little ‘ weird ’ looking thoughtfulness remain on the picture and the dark for the separate hands did n’t add up out justly . So , finally when I shoot only the hands together with the clock behind , the event was really float parts . I show it to a twosome of friends yesterday and it remove a retentive prison term before they observe out how I did it .
I set my D90 on a tripod , with a chintzy speedlight flash to get the hard shadow . I ’m not a great Photoshop soul , I even did n’t use Photoshop at all but Gimp ( which could do the same mask thing I bump out ) . Camera : Nikon D90 . Using the black light idea form a few months back , and a control grid of legos hanging constitute my roof , the shoot issue forth together , and the ship was ripped apart by the all encompassing black hollow it had locomote to close too . Room Full of Something Other Than Guns
I wanted to try this technique out , so I took apart my Glock 27 and suspended each musical composition by screw thread in a complicated arrangement of balance . Then , just as I was about to take my first photo , I decided to tweak the desktop . It all fell down , ruining minute of boring apparatus time . Frustrated , I resolve to take a newfangled approaching , and contain the “ Room Full of Something ” challenge I missed out on a while back . I asked my friend Ashley if she ’d help me render out some other ideas and gratefully she was happy to assist . For the two shots in the foreground , an exercise globe assist in holding her up . The background shot was claim with me holding her up . The ball , and myself were photoshopped out after merging the exposure . This picture was originally a be adrift banana tree , but always when I tried to make the “ floating ” effect , I terminate with a flabby banana , so my final descicion was make a similar picture with an Malus pumila instead . Rocket Crayons
My melodic theme for this challenge was to adjudicate to reflect a child ’s imagination . I draw and colored a impression of a sky in a child ’s style ( which worked out well since my draught skills are on par with most unproblematic school children ) and used cut up wax crayon to symbolize a rocket blasting into orbit and breaking into small-arm . I used a phonograph needle and screw thread to check my “ floating ” rocket in position and followed the instructions in the tutorial . I combined the images in photoshop and erased off the thread . I shoot them with my Canon EOS Digital Rebel , EF - S 18 - 55 mm lens — 1/50 sec , f/5.0 .

iPod Touch
I knew right away that I need to take something apart and show its catgut then I remembered that I had an onetime first generation iPod Touch that was collecting dust . I thought it would work on perfectly for this picture . So I disassembled it into as many different composition as potential without break anything . When trying to figure out how I was fit to make it look like it was floating , my first view was to utilise Lego blocks and stack the different levels of the iPod . That jump to work , but I just got frustrated and give up for the nighttime . Then I take all the iPod piece into work with me the next twenty-four hours and as soon as I got there , it strike me … paperclip . So I start bending paperclips and stacking the unlike iPod point and it act upon out astonishingly . Because each level was at a different angle to the camera and the paperclips would have been in the way of the low-toned level , I ended up taking a photo of each level as I built it up . That style in Photoshop , I could block out out the paperclips without affecting the iPod . I ’m no professional and I do n’t even own a decent tv camera for these types of things , but for it being my third time using Photoshop and using my iPhone 5 photographic camera with the HDR turned on , I think this picture turned out passably bloody good .

Here ’s a different take on the same concept . How often do you see a baby derail out of his cot , that too with his toys . The point was set in our friends house . I was assume some pic of their sister son Ethan just in clip for his first birthday . We had planned this concept earlier and feel this exposure was appropriate for the swim bladder challenge .
Our friends ’ boy posed along with his preferent toy dog . The hardest part during post processing was erasing the mom ’s hand who was holding the baby . Used content mindful , cloning and piece cock to get that right . Used 5 bed one for baby Ethan , three for his toys and one for the scope . Nikon D7000 with 35 mm f1.8 lens

French Press
For this workweek ’s contest I decided to shoot something that I ’m always taking asunder and the first matter I thought of was my french wardrobe . I suspend everything using white sewing train of thought and canal tape . Some of the items were just string from above while others ( most of the plunger parts ) were secured from above and below in edict to prevent them from rotating . I postdate the tutorial in challenge however I reverse the double order and took a photo of everything suspend first . This was so I did n’t have to worry about bumping the tripod during set up and then once I had a photograph I was well-chosen with took it all down and inject the background . Just decided to play with the musical theme of throw away sliced white potato in a heap . To get this to fare clear though I had to re - orient the camera several time . I started with our granite backsplash behind the kitchen range the scope , but that was just too meddling , could not really see the spacings well , so I aline for the black-market background of the stovetop , which turned out much shrill . Then I cooked and ate the subject . :) . Canon EOS7D. f/3.5 , 1/60 sec .

I ’ve used this proficiency a few times before to take multiplicity photos , but never thought about using it in this mode until see this article ( I ’m still fairly new to picture taking ) . After seeing the challenge , I locomote home and wandered around for a little while , looking for something I could bear to disassemble just for the sake of photo . I settled on the classic NES controller because , as a long time gamer , they hold heavy nostalgia and I ’ve never taken one aside . Besides , they ’re a dime bag a twelve .
I ab initio started by hanging each of the control gut from fishing production line , which proved to be near inconceivable . I ’m not really sure why that was my first thought . In hindsight , it makes no sense , but I certainly waste a lot of metre and effort on that futile plan . finally , I settle on mounting each controller piece to a toothpick with hot gum and using styrofoam to arrange them . scoot with a Nikon D7000 . Tokina ultra wide angle lense .

As soon as I saw the shot challenge for this week my mind immediately thought of Legos . What better item to select for a sectionalisation photo than Legos . Knowing what I was going to use , I next had to think of the existent national . I first went through all my minifigures and constitute two I thought would search safe together , and with the alien holding a beam of light gun , I naturally thought of doing a shooting view .
