Ariana Grandefound her grailon Thursday night, at the opening night of Broadway’sSpamalot.

The “Positions” singer, 30, was in the crowd at the St. James Theatre in New York City for the milestone performance of Monty Python musical revival, supporting her boyfriendEthan Slater, who plays a variety of roles in the comedy.

For the outing, Grande wore a more modern strapless long black dress that ended just below her knees and formed a “V” shape at her bust, with the long edges pointing toward her shoulders. She paired the look with black sheer gloves, black stockings from Calzedonia, pointy-toed heels and a black coat that she wore just off her shoulders. She also appeared to carry a small leather black drawstring bag in her hands.

To complete the look, she opted to style her blonde hair in a classic sleek ponytail and donned pearl drop earrings. She also wore a bright red lip with nude makeup and a lighter eyeliner, in line with her new, more natural makeup aesthetic.

Sadly for fans, the occasion didn’t mark Grande and Slater’s red carpet couple debut, as she avoided the press line. Prior to her arrival, Slater, 31, had posed for photographers on the carpet in a classic black suit and tie with a white button-down shirt.

A source told PEOPLE at the time that Grande was been a “big supporter” of the production and had “plans to go again.”

“She has seen it during tech rehearsals,” the insider shared. “She was so sweet last night, taking pictures with fans and gushing about how much she was enjoying the performances. She’s a theater kid at her core, so you see she really feels at peace being around Broadway."

Indeed, Grande — who got her start on Broadway, starring in Jason Robert Brown’s short-lived 2008 musical13— has returned toSpamalota few times since then.

Based on the beloved 1975 filmMonty Python and the Holy Grail,Spamalotfollows King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table on their quest for the Holy Grail. Tim Curry, Hank Azaria, David Hyde Pierce, Christian Borle and Sara Ramirez were among those who starred in the original production.
