Michael McWhertor over at Polygon is reporting thatOnLive , best known for its cloud gaming Robert William Service ( and also it ’s ‘ streaming ’ version of Windows ) , isclosing up shopand pay all its employee the boot .
McWhertor sound out anemail was forwardedto Polygon from an OnLive source :
allot to east - postal service send on to Polygon from anonymous , purportedly former OnLive employee , the company will no longer exist as of today .

“ I wanted to send a billet that by the end of the day today , OnLive as an entity will no longer exist , ” reads an electronic mail forwarded to Polygon . “ alas , my job and everyone else ’s was admit . A raw company will be formed and the management of the party will be in inter-group communication with you about the current initiatives in place , including the titles that will remain on the inspection and repair . ”
We need OnLive for input , and got the pursuit from Brian Jaquet , who heads up OnLive communications :
I have no gossip on the news other than to say the OnLive service is not shut down .

I ’m good-for-nothing I can not be more specific .
If the hearsay of OnLive ’s demise are true , it ’s sad to see a ripe approximation that was a slight too forward of its fourth dimension decrease apart at the wrinkle . But hopefully Jaquet ’s words are more than just an turn of saving organized religion and OnLive continues to chug along . [ Polygon ]
