Google sure seems to be test or developing a depicted object hub under the name Kaleidoscope , per a dormant landing place page that can be come across on Google ’s developer browser app .
Spotted byChrome Storyat chrome://kaleidoscope/ with Chrome Canary , Kaleidoscope — as it is likely address — greets visitant with the tagline : “ All your appearance in one spot . ” Kaleidoscope , it seems , would allow users to “ see all your favorite shows in one piazza , no matter where they ’re hosted . ” When Gizmodo visited the landing varlet on Thursday afternoon , nothing appeared below a prompt to pick out “ the providers you use . ” However in screenshots share by Chrome Story , icon for Netflix , Amazon Prime , and Disney+ appeared below .
click a bottom - right hand “ Yes I ’m in ” push button from the landing pageboy shoot us to a second varlet titled “ Continue watching across all your devices . ” However , again clicking “ Yes I ’m in ” drop us off at a dead end . That page take : “ Chrome Kaleidoscope is not currently available for your accounting . If you are a Googler look into out go / kaleidoscope - not - available for more info . ” Womp . Womp .

Google did not now repay a postulation for comment about the mathematical product .
What this seems like is either something along what Plex require to be — which is just an everythinghost and aggregatorfor subject matter — or something more like Apple TV or Prime Video , through which you’re able to stream third - party armed service . With little to actually look at , it ’s tough to say how it would actually work — though it would be extremely cockeyed for Chrome drug user to be able pull up a window that would essentially take the guesswork out of substance juggling across multiple overhaul .
