At just five inches long , tarsiers are among the Earth ’s smallest primates . And yet they communicate much like humans , using a wide-cut range of calls to communicate . That ’s why it ’s so unearthly that some tarsier ostensibly stay on altogether mum .
Tarsiers are like support fossil — a tiny link back to the ancient commencement of primate evolution . Though they once stray the world , they ’re now only found in the islands of Southeast Asia . The Borneo and Phillippine tarsier have been called “ ordinarily silent ” , mean they do n’t make the same audio we have observed in all the other species .
