NBC ’s Heroes may have had its middling portion of critics of its third season so far , but new writer / producer Mark Verheiden want fans to know that their complaints are n’t entirely falling on indifferent ears .
talk about way of life in which the author are examine to improve during the upcoming Fugitives arc , Verheiden explained that both the form and content of the serial is about to commute :
What we tried to do with the show as a group , people will notice that we ’re not doing as many news report per show and lingering a bit on the story we ’re doing … I consider in going forward what we ’re probably doing is leave some of the stuff of “ scoundrel ’ behind . You ’ll see that Primatech and Pinehurst are n’t workable anymore . So those entity will be dissolved and a couple of characters have settle to , one in particular , taken a dramatic new turn that will coiffe off where we ’re locomote with “ Fugitives ’ very intelligibly . The Nathan role play by Adrian Pasdar , a great histrion , he has some really fun and emotional turns coming in the “ Fugitives ” arc . There ’s also a great arc with Sylar coming up . Very sport .

Such changes , he explained , are n’t just the result of fan complaints or mesh notes , but self - correction from the people working on the show . But that does n’t mean that criticism and complaint go unnoticed :
[ W]e’re not deaf . We listen to what the general rub-a-dub is and as we go forward , I think we ’ve made some adjustments . But they were adjustments that were being made before all this stuff really come down . One thing I ’ve learned after doing this for a while is that you ca n’t really ascertain that variety of thing . you’re able to just do the best you’re able to do . That ’s what I ’m about , trying to do the best shows we can do . I was interpret somewhere where someone suggested that , “ well they must not care about the show . ” [ laughs ] Critique it all you want . you’re able to have all the issues you desire , but in terms of care I ’m telling you we care about the show . Not just the writers , not just the producer , the cast , the tremendous crowd , everyone . It ’s a trivial cockeyed … You do n’t stay in the office until midnight and work seven days a workweek and all this poppycock because you ’re just knocking it out … [ E]verybody who ’s there is pour down themselves to make the best show potential . You ca n’t fault us for deficiency of try .
