Ivanka Trumpis celebrating her grandmother’s birthday amid her father’s legal woes.
On Wednesday, former PresidentDonald Trump’s daughter, 41, shared that she and her family recently celebrated her maternal grandmotherMarie Zelníčková’s 97th birthday in Miami. Ivanka made the announcement alongside a series ofphotos on Instagram.
“It’s the simple moments together that define the richness of life,” she added in the caption. “I cherish every second! 🥰.”
After the former commander-in-chief, 77, wasindicted in a fourth criminal investigationin August, a source told PEOPLE that his closest family members are unconcerned with the potential of him serving jail time.
“Everyone knows he’s not going to jail. No one is worried,” the source claimed.
The source added that Ivanka and her husband,Jared Kushner, are “definitely not hiding” and “live right on the beach” in Miami, Florida.

Between the four criminal investigations, Trump is facinga total of 91 criminal counts. The Trump Organization’s finances is also at the center of a civil fraud trial.
One of the properties that was said to be overvalued was the members-only Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida. According to court filings, Trump said the Mar-a-Lago club was worth between $426.5 million and $612.1 million. The judge cited a Palm Beach County assessor to note that the property’s value was appraised at a market value of at least 2,300 percent less than what the former president has claimed (between $18 million and $27.6 million).
After the ruling, New York State Attorney General Letitia James, whobrought the fraud case against Trumpand includes his adult sons,Eric Trump, andDonald Trump Jr., said in a statement: “Today, a judge ruled in our favor and found that Donald Trump and the Trump Organization engaged in years of financial fraud. We look forward to presenting the rest of our case at trial.”

He added that Mar-a-Lago is “WORTH POSSIBLY 100 TIMES” and stated: “My actual Net Worth is MUCH GREATER than the number shown on the Financial Statements, a BIG SURPRISE to him & the Racist A.G., Letitia James, who campaigned for office on a get Trump Platform.”

After the trial began on Monday, Trump’s lawyers filed a notice of appeal to a New York appellate court, perCNN. Trump was not ordered to appear at the trial but attended each of the first three days, which James referred to as a “political stunt.”
“I will not be bullied. Mr. Trump is no longer here. The Donald Trump show is over. This was nothing more than a political stunt, a fundraising stop," said James, per the outlet.
