Jenna Bush Hagershared more hilarious details about the events leading up to the birth of her 11-year-old daughter.
“Actually, Carrie, who’s one of our producers, was there, and she’s lovely, and her husband said, ‘No, Henry, I know Barbara and Jenna would act like that to you, but Carrie would never lie to me, so you need to go to the hospital,' " she continued.

Barbara and Bush Hager have lived much of their lives together in the spotlight. They were only 7 years old when their grandfather,George H.W. Bush, was inaugurated as the 41st president. When the twins were 19 in 2001, George W. followed in his father’s footsteps and became president.
The sisters have since gone on to foster high-profile careers of their own, both separately and together. Barbara is an activist involved in several nonprofit initiatives, while Bush Hager is a television presenter andTodayshow host. In addition to their separate endeavors, the sisters have teamed up on several projects, authoring two books together and co-founding a nonprofit organization.
Aside from all the achievements and accolades, Barbara and Bush Hager at their core are just sisters who still poke fun at each other. In November 2024, when co-hostHoda Kotbasked Bush Hager how she planned to spend her 43rd birthday, she revealed that she would be uniting with Barbara, so that they could celebrate together.

Bush Hager shares her three children, two daughters and a son, with Henry. The couple, whowed in 2008, welcomed their first daughterMila, 11, in April 2013. Two years later, the Hagers expanded their family with their daughterPoppy, 9, in August 2015. Rounding out their family of five, the duo added their sonHal, 5, to the family in August 2019.
The talk show host regularly gushes about her family live on her show. On the Monday, Feb. 3 episode ofToday with Jenna & Friends,she shared with Nwodim that she whispers a specific mantra to each of her kids before they go to sleep. While she keeps the current ones private for onlyher and her children’s ears, she shared an old mantra that she used for her daughterPoppy, 9.
“For Poppy, it was ‘You are loved, you are loved, you are loved, they all say,’ " she said. “And, I thought I made it up and then I realized I got it from a book. But, I try to just infuse goodness right before bed.”
