Speaking with theLos Angeles Timesfor an interview published Tuesday, theOscar-nominatedPower of the Dogactress, 39, reveals that while she and fiancé Plemons, 33, “call each other husband and wife,” they have yet to make things official.

“I didn’t want to be pregnant, get married, have a party and not be able to have fun with everybody,” she added.

Dunst and Plemonsgot engaged in January 2017, after previously meeting on the set ofFargo, where they played a married couple.

They also star as love interests inThe Power of the Dog, for which they are bothnominated for an Academy Awardin the Best Supporting Actor/Actress categories.

And the feeling is mutual as, the previous month, Dunst toldThe Hollywood Reporterthat her fiancé is “my favorite actor to work with.”

Dunst also spoke about thecomfort of having Plemons on setwhile tacklingThe Power of the Dog’s “painful” subject matter.

“Thank God I had Jesse on set, to be honest,” she toldTHR. “I thought about that, like, at least we had lunch together in the trailer and there was a reprieve and we’d ride home together. I could say whatever. I had him.”

Ahead of their older sonEnnis Howard’s birth in May 2018 (they also share 9-month-old sonJames Robert), Dunst said onLive with Kelly and Ryanthat she wasenjoying “pinning things” for their weddingon Pinterest.

“It’s really fun, and because we create it together from the beginning, it’s a really nice thing to do together,” she added of herself and Plemons. “It’s going to be so personal and fun. We’re having a really good time.”
