As the streamer rolled outglimpsesat many of its upcoming movies and television series for 2024 on Thursday, it published the first photo fromIrish Wish, the upcoming rom-com that serves as Lohan’s second Netflix collaboration after the 2022 holiday filmFalling for Christmas.
The first image fromIrish Wishshows Lohan, 37, kneeling on the ground at a wedding as she makes a call on her cell phone, with flowers strewn about the floor and wedding guests appearing confused around her.
Lohan — who recently made acameo appearance in theMean Girlsmovie musical— plays a woman named Maddie, who attends a wedding in Ireland as a bridesmaid to her best friend. Maddie is in love with the groom-to-be, though.
“When the love of her life gets engaged to her best friend, Maddie puts her feelings aside to be a bridesmaid at their wedding in Ireland,” reads anofficial synopsisfor the film. “Days before the pair are set to marry, Maddie makes a spontaneous wish for true love, only to wake up as the bride-to-be. With her dream seeming to come true, Maddie soon realizes that her real soulmate is someone else entirely.”

Irish Wish’s cast also includes Ed Speleers, Alexander Vlahos,Ayesha Curry, Elizabeth Tan, Jacinta Mulcahy, and Jane Seymour. The upcoming film makes for the first of two movies Lohan is making with Netflix as part of atwo-picture dealshe agreed to followingFalling for Christmas. The streamer recentlyannouncedthat the next film, titledOur Little Secret, is currently in production.
