TheModern Familyalum, 51, shared that she is having an “interesting year” and reflected on how she is taking the highs and lows in stride.
“A lot of changes, a lot of good and craziness and bad things happen and good things happen,” she toldEntertainment Tonightof her life right now. “You know, what makes life so entertaining and interesting.”
“I can’t complain. I’ve had a great, great time,” she added. “There’s always time for more good stuff coming.”

When asked what’s next for theAmerica’s Got Talentjudge, she shared, “I mean, my 50s!”
On July 18, the actress announced in a joint statement she would beseparatingfrom theTrue Bloodstar afterseven years of marriage.
“We have made the difficult decision to divorce,” the estranged couple said in their statement toPage Six. “As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect for our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives.”

A source told PEOPLE the actress was“doing excellent"a week after the divorce filing in July.
“She is sad that her marriage didn’t work out, but she feels very fortunate anyway,” the source said. “She has a great life that she loves. She is staying at her house for now. Joe is living elsewhere.”
The insider added that “there is no drama” between the former couple.
