Matthew Morrisonhas been married to Renee Puente for almost eight years.
The couple first met at a Grammys party in 2011 and laterwed on the island of Maui, Hawaii in 2014during an intimate ceremony with family and friends.
Since getting tying the knot, the two have welcomed two children: sonRevel James Makaiborn in October 2017 and daughterPhoenix Monroe Morrisonborn in June 2021.

My wife came into my life at such a great time.”

A source close to the Fox reality show told PEOPLE that Morrison was fired from the series “afterhe had an inappropriate relationshipwith a female contestant,” including reaching out “through flirty direct messages on social media” that made the contestant feel “uncomfortable.”
Morrison later spoke out about his exiton social media, calling the accusations “blatantly untrue.“Puente reshared Morrison’s Instagram video, writing, “It’s been a wild ride… My husband has finally been given an opportunity to speak his truth. He has done so with such grace and integrity in a situation that is complex and incredibly complicated.”
In June 2023, Morrison popped up onPuente’s Instagram againwhen she posted about prioritizing their relationship. “Mama and Papa need alone time!” she captioned a photo of the two looking out over a view together. “Don’t feel guilty, it’s a necessity 🤍 Continuing to grow a strong connection with your partner will be beneficial to the whole family 🥰.”
