“I wasn’t sure I wanted to have my wedding at a vineyard, but the moment I saw the property, I knew it was the place,” the actress explained. “We reserved it 18 months before our wedding to hold it. It was definitely worth it, because it was magical.”
To let the natural scenery shine, Hanratty and DeAnda opted to keep the decor minimal, with simple seasonal floral arrangements, gold votives and twinkly lights.

As their loved ones looked on, Hanratty and DeAnda recited handwritten vows, making for an emotional moment. “The tears were flowing,” Hanratty recalled.

They went for a hike for their first date, and Hanratty recalled how comfortable their connection was from the start. “The conversation was easy,” she toldThe Knot. “We laughed a lot.”
DeAnda echoed the sentiment. “I love how open she is with me — we talk about anything on the face of the earth,” he said. “That makes me feel comfortable and lets me know that there is no off-limits topic between us. We also have a lot of similar interests.”
“I’m a huge nerd, and she’s fallen into that world with me,” he added.
As she reflected on her dream wedding, Hanratty said her favorite moment was when she and DeAnda locked eyes for the first time as she began to walk down the aisle in her dress.
